Hand forged textures!

 

The Hammered Collection showcases precious metals that are hand forged, hammered, and manipulated. Bold metal shapes with tactile textures are paired with semi-precious gemstones, crystals, pearls, and other natural materials such as linens and leathers to create pieces that have a primitive, yet sophisticated, appeal. Metals used in the pieces include 14 kt. gold fill, sterling silver, and oxidized sterling silver. Many pieces also incorporate wire wrapping and riveting techniques that add intricate detail.

Because every piece is hand-formed and hand-textured (often using antique ball peen hammers from the artist's personal collection!), they are all a bit different in shape and size. Jewelry items from this collection range from fashionably bold to exquisitely delicate. The signature piece from the Hammered Collection is the hammered earring hoops with our "loop-de-loop" detail.
